sms: sql 2005 sp2 is out! don't install it!
... at least not on your sms 2003 environment. sms 2003 sp3 is the only version that will support a sql 2005 sp2 infrastructure. of course, you know sms 2003 sp3 is not out yet. hold on your deployments until this new sms 2003 service pack is out.

ReplyDeleteAlbeit in a lab, I'm running SQL 2005/SP2 with SMS SP2 and it runs fine. I recently upgraded to SMS SP3 RC1 (upgrade) and it runs fine as well. Just curious: where did you read there was a problem with SMS 2003 SP2 with SMS SQL 2005 SP2?
